Share your story
Your story deserves to be heard.
Beyond Us is looking for siblings, parents, partners, caregivers, and friends who want to share what it means to love someone who experiences the world differently. No experience required — just your truth.
What to expect
A conversation, not an interview
We sit down together — in person or virtually — for an intimate, unscripted conversation. You guide the story. We just listen.
Your comfort comes first
You choose what to share and what to keep private. Nothing is published without your full review and approval.
A story that lasts
Your episode becomes part of the Beyond Us archive — a permanent record of love, complexity, and resilience for others to find.
Who we're looking for
We welcome anyone who loves someone with a disability, chronic illness, neurodivergence, or mental health condition — and who has something they wish the world understood. You don't need to be a public figure or a polished speaker. You just need a story.
"What do you wish the world understood about the person you love?"
Beyond Us wants to hear your story.
We are inviting people to take part in intimate, filmed conversations about the relationships that have shaped who they are.
This isn't about defining someone by a diagnosis. It's about the person you know and love—the moments others don't see, the conversations they don't hear, the challenges, the laughter, the complexity, the growth, and everything in between.
You are welcome to participate on your own or, when appropriate and something you both want, together with your loved one.
Tell us about yourself
Fill out the form below and we'll be in touch to learn more about your story. All submissions are read personally.
